Congratulations to Orono High School quarterback Jack Brewer on his performance against the Dexter Tigers on Saturday afternoon. He completed 18-20 passes for 364 yards and seven TDs. Congratulations to Gage Folsom of Houlton for being named Week 7 LTC Player of the Week. Gage had a great day leading the Houlton Shires to a 64-6 win over Dexter. Gage led the defense with 10 tackles, 3 sacks, and 1 Fumble Recovery. He also helped out on offense with 1 rush for 12 yards and a TD and 2 receptions for 49 yards scoring 1 TD and 1 PAT.

Hats off to Bucksport QB Ayden Maguire for his performance against Houlton. He rushed for 70 yards and two TD’s and completed 9 of 18 passes for 93 yards, 2 TDs and 3 two point conversions. His ten yard rushing TD and completed two Point conversion proved to be the difference the Bucks needed in OT to secure the 42-40 win over the Shires.
Congratulations to Houlton quarterback Isaiah Irvin for his outstanding performance Friday night at Dexter. He rushed for 113 yards on 23 carries and 4 TD’s and hurt the Tigers with his arm as well completing 11-17 passes for 186 yards and 2 TD’s. On Defense, he had seven tackles and three interceptions. Houlton defeated the Tigers 52-38.

He had the game tying TD on the last play of the game as well as the game winning two point conversion as the Tigers defeated the Golden Bucks 24-22 in the season finale. On the night, he carried the ball 12 times for 55 yards with a TD and two PATS. On defense, he was in on six tackles and recovered a fumble.

Congratulations to Stearns HS wide receiver/cornerback, Aiden Sanders on his efforts in a wild game against Mt View. He scored five total touchdowns on the night. He caught six passes for 91 yards and three scores, rushed for another touchdown, and returned a kickoff 100 yards for his fifth TD. He also sealed the game with an interception on defense as the Minutemen held off the Mustangs 70-67 to remain Undefeated.

performance in the fourth quarter Friday night. He carried the ball 18 times for 120 yards that spearheaded a 21 point outburst in the last seven minutes of the game to erase a 14-0 deficit against Oak Hill. His efforts along with a stingy defense in the
second half allowed the Golden Bucks to come from behind and defeat Oak Hill
21-14.
Congratulations to Mattanawcook Academy running back Brayden Lujan on his 27 carry, 203 yard, 3TD performance at Foxcroft Academy on Friday night. His fourth quarter play allowed the Lynx to come from an eight point deficit and defeat the Ponies 47-35 to extend their win streak to five games. Brayden also had a key
interception in the fourth quarter to help seal the win for the Lynx and caught two passes for another touchdown. He was responsible for scoring 27 of the Lynx 47 points.
